“Fantastic tour! We were traveling 2 hours for this tour and had some hiccups along the way. We let the guide know about us possibly being late and he was extremely accommodating. He called and made arrangements to leave the entry tickets for us. He then let another guide who was giving a tour know that we could possibly join her tour. She kept an eye out for us and even came back to the entry gate to get us. They were all so kind, and welcoming. The tour itself was fantastic. “Did not deliver what was advertised. It was expensive for what we got. We did not go the archeological museum for an hour which was advertised. The coffee break in Agregento was a stop at a petrol station. We did not get a mini bus. We deliberately booked a tour with a small number of people, we ended up on a big bus.”

“A very long day- and tiring as we did a lot of walking. Give yourselves a day off after doing this! It was a long drive from Taormina to the south of Sicily. Our guide gave us some information about the country. We had beautiful weather, so the temples were stunning. Our local guide was good, although there were long delays as she had to do each talk twice, once in German, then in English. We had some free time after the guided tour. There is more to see at Agrigento than can be covered in the two hours allocated, but it is possible to do the linear walk through, even after waiting in the long queue for tickets. The mosaic floors at the Roman villa are stunning, and the best I have seen anywhere. The snack was a large panini or two arancini and plenty of local wine or water to drink.”
