When you get off of the boat, there are some bus tours available (15-20€ per person depending on group size) which didn’t seem to be affiliated with the boat company. We decided to just wander around ourselves and we had a great time. The package includes transport to and from the islands from the port of Milazzo. On the way back, we were serenaded by the lovely Giuseppe. All in all, we would definitely recommend!”

The bus journey to Milazzo port was painless with lovely views and a quick stop for a coffee half way. After this we got a boat ride to the first Island - due to the weather this was very rough and unpleasant, with many people throwing up into sick bags handed out by the boat staff - despite the choppiness we never felt unsafe. Once we got to the islands the day was perfect, we had lunch by the sea, went for a scenic walk and a lovely swim…”

“Lipari is a beautiful island and where we stopped was very picturesque with lovely streets and lots of shops, bars etc We then went on to Vulcano where we wandered and had lunch didn't try the mud baths though they looked like fun. Franco our guide was very informative throughout the trip and readily made himself available to answer the groups questions. Would definetly recommend.”
