He called and made arrangements to leave the entry tickets for us. He then let another guide who was giving a tour know that we could possibly join her tour. She kept an eye out for us and even came back to the entry gate to get us. They were all so kind, and welcoming. The tour itself was fantastic. “The tour was marketed as an English tour, however, it was given as a bilingual tour which was around 80% in Italian. At each stop we stood for around 15-20 minutes while the guide gave the details to the Italian group. He then instructed them to move on and he proceeded to give a 5 minute description in English. Not only did we not get as much as the Italian group, but at 1 hr 10 min in we had only seen 1 of 5 temples. We left the group to go on our own and were much happier for having done so.”
